"Drilless" Fillings Now Available
In an effort to offer the most up-to-date and comfortable dental treatment, Dental Visions now offers "drilless" fillings for certain cavities. With this technique, a gentle stream of air containing a microscopic abrasive powder, removes the decayed area of the tooth which is then filled with a tooth colored space age material. This technique can only be used in small, early stage cavities on the exposed surfaces of the teeth. A major advantage of this treatment is that local anesthetic (novocaine) is usually not required.
